Under the Never Sky

Standard

Sorry you guys it took along time to post again, I just got back from a school trip.

One night Aria snuck into a restricted part of her home (pod) with her best friend, and 3 boys.  Only two kids made it out of the pod; Aria and one of the boys.  Now Aria is exiled from her home, and put into the Outside.  An outside filled with a million ways to die from the Aether storms to the cannibals.  She never expected she would live long, but soon enough she finds herself a companion.  Perry, is a savage and has also been thrown from his home.  Aria and Perry form an alliance that soon turns to love, and they find themselves trying to cross the obstacles of the Outside together.

I would highly suggest this book to anyone.  Yes, it is another dystopian book, but this one stands out.  It is filled with new aspects to the dystopian society.  Now go pick the book up! You will like it!

Jumping Off Swings

Standard

Ellie feels loved when the boys hold her, when they beg her for more; she feels like they will stay with her forever.  Sadly, the boys always leave.  They use her.  Josh uses her like all the other boys, but there is something different about this time.  This time Ellie gets pregnant.  The story is told through the eyes of four different teens.  Corianne; Ellie’s best friend.  Josh; the father.  Caleb; Josh’s best friend, who had a crush on Ellie.  And Ellie.  The story is not fast moving and is told in seperate parts (seasons).  Even though the story is not fast moving you are still have to finish it.  I would highly suggest it, and maybe even for your little sister too.  It doesn’t go into great detail of the pregnancy; it just goes through how it affects the lives of the  different teens.
